Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities only. In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste candidates, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered and vice versa).

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For conditions regarding the upper age limit, please see Part II of the General Conditions (except para 2(i)).

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Part III and B.Ed/B.T./L.T. conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Exemption - 1. M.Phil/Ph.D/NET/SET/M.Ed in the concerned subject are exempted from passing TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G Edn dated 9.10.2020). 2. CTET qualified candidates with Category I (for Primary Stage) and Category II (for Elementary Stage) are exempted from passing KTET Category III and IV respectively (G.O.(P)No.1866829/J3/2017/General Education Department dated 09.03.2018).

(i) Candidates shall apply online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in only. (ii) Separate applications must be submitted for each category/district. (iii) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. (iv) Candidates should submit a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate / Caste Certificate obtained from Revenue authorities along with the Gazette notification for any change in caste name in SSLC book. (v) Concessions regarding upper age limit / special preferences for Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, and regular Nursery/Primary School teachers are applicable as per rules.
