Age Limit
24 - 44; Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). (For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions)
Qualifications
(i) Master's Degree in Orthodontics (MDS in Orthodontics) from a recognized University recognized by the Dental Council of India. (ii) Permanent Registration with the State Dental Council. (iii) Three years teaching experience.
Notes
1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2. The teaching experience gained during the study period of Post Graduate Degree through Residency Programme shall be counted as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme should produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they have studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 3. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order/equivalency certificate proving the equivalency at the time of verification, if the qualification is not already specified in the notification. 4. Candidates belonging to communities other than the above will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent. 5. Candidates claiming Experience Qualification should obtain Experience Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure A or B) and enter details of experience (Certificate number, date, name of post, period, name of issuing authority, name of institution etc.) and upload the scanned image/declaration. Certificate should be produced before the Commission when called for.
