Age Limit
21-46; Only candidates born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Qualifications
1. MD (Biochemistry)/DNB (Biochemistry). 2. Three years teaching experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent Registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Note (a): The teaching experience of candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree through Residency Programme shall be considered as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme should produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they have studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate degree study period. Note (b): DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. Note (c): KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. Note (d): Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/Equivalency Certificate (if the notification mentions equivalency) at the time of verification to prove that the qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification. Note (e): In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
Notes
Note 1: The vacancies shown above are currently existing. The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. Note 2: Persons appointed to this post shall serve in the Defence Services or on Defence related jobs in India or abroad for a period of four years (including the period of training) within the first ten years of their service. This condition is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to those who are differently abled. - Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. - Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2011 with name and date of photo taken clearly marked at the bottom. - Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. - Rules of Procedure Rule 22 is applicable for candidates who provide false claims regarding qualifications or fail to appear for the exam after confirmation. - Candidates with Aadhar card should provide Aadhar card as ID proof in their profile.
