Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from among Women candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes only). In the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates, Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered for selection. Note:- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes will be summarily rejected. No individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will be issued.
Age Limit
18 - 41. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Other conditions regarding age relaxation are not applicable.
Qualifications
(1) Pass in Pre-Degree, Plus Two or equivalent examination and one year experience as Care Giver in any Child Care Institution recognized by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board under the Social Justice Department. (2) Must be in sound physical health.
Notes
(i) Persons appointed to the post either by direct recruitment or by transfer shall be subjected to 3 months practical training in service under the supervision and guidance of the Probation Officer of the district concerned in accordance with the detailed work program of the Director of Social Justice. (ii) The period of training shall be treated as duty for all service benefits. (iii) Persons selected to the post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date on which they join duty. (iv) Certificates to prove experience shall be in the form specified below. Certificate should be obtained from the Head of the Institution, Kerala State Orphanage Control Board. (v) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.
